March Madness

This month, Stella Scout experienced her first taste of March in the Bressler family. The entire Bressler family - Grandpa Harte, Grandma Jannie, Papa and Aunt Mandy - all celebrate their birthdays in March. And Mama does too! Stella and Uncle Jeff (and pupsters Lucy and Porthos) were great sports as we celebrated March Madness this weekend with cake and games. Stella also got to play her first notes on the piano. She's already dreaming of playing duets with Grandpa Harte! Happy Birthday everyone!

A Good Egg

Happy Easter! Stella Scout celebrated her first Easter with the Burns clan with all the appropriate frills and ruffles. Yup, our regularly rough and tumble babe donned a pretty pink dress for Bunny Day. She had a lot of fun exploring all the ruffles and seemed to dig the bonnet.

Stella got to meet her Great Aunt Ann and Great Uncle Pat this weekend. It was so much fun seeing them get to know one another. Thanks, Ann and Pat, for coming out to visit! We love you.

Stella got to spend a whole day with her cousin Olivia. As you can see, she's totally enamored. Thanks, Olivia, for playing with and reading to our babe!

Sunshine!

Now that the sun is starting to shine in Bellingham, we're getting out as much as we can. Stella is really enjoying swinging and watching all the big kids play at the park.

Pearly Whites

Stella has cut her first two teeth! The new chompers are making her feel a bit grumpier than usual, but she's been a real trooper through it all. She's making huge strides in terms of her development these days - sitting up pretty much entirely on her own, standing while holding on to something solid, practically crawling out of her bathtub and rolling over repeatedly to get to a cool toy. She really digs reading - Goodnight Gorilla (with Mama's ridiculous narrative and the necessary British accents) is her favorite - and she's starting to bounce a bit when we put on the funk. We're thrilled she seems to be inheriting the goofy bone we so appreciate. We're also psyched to see that Stella is cultivating quite an impressive will. Silly and strong, yee haa!
