Pallin' Around

Stella Scout enjoyed a fabulously fun afternoon with her good buddy, Isaac. They had a blast batting at one another, hanging out under the activity mat and reading Pat-a-Cake (upside down, of course!).

Happy Kid

At three months, Stella is wowing us daily with all she discovers and explores. In one week, she became joyfully aware of her hands, her tongue and the cats, Cooper and Vinnie. She's starting to babble more, and a few giggles have emerged here and there. She's simply delightful.

Lucky Babe

Stella is one lucky babe. Her Great Aunt Joan and cousin Kathleen flew all the way from New Jersey to meet her. With them, they brought songs (“Her name is Stella…”), much laughter and a whole lotta love. It was great to see the Burns Clan gather and, as usual, laugh their heads off as the grandchildren danced and entertained. Again, Stella is one lucky kid to have such love and humor in her life. Thank you Auntie Joan and Kathleen! We love you to the moon.

Tummy Time

Happy ten weeks, Stella Scout! The wee scout had an eventful weekend and proved, yet again, to be a total champ. Late Friday night, her papa started feeling funky. It turns out, his appendix was ready to blow. After a successful appendectomy early Saturday morning, Stella was able to visit her proud (and groggy) Papa in the hospital. All the post-op nurses popped into Brian's room regularly to visit the charming babe. (While he's not ready to hop on his mountain bike any time soon, Brian is healing quite well at home. Thanks for all the support, especially to Grandma and Grandpa Bressler who stayed with the sleeping babe while Katherine took Brian to the hospital. You guys rock!)
