We've had some serious snow here this week. And the girls have had a blast.
As always, Stella's enthusiasm and joy seeps into everyone else and we've spent countless hours sledding, snow angel-ing, snow girl building and snowflake catching.
Phoebe? Not a real fan at first.
But once Stella showed her the great joy of eating snow, she turned a corner. I literally had to drag her inside once she realized that tromping around in wet (and edible!) cold stuff is actually a thrill. (Yet again, thank you, big sister.)
And the Mama? Once I resigned myself to the fact that I would be putting on and taking off kid snow gear about twenty times a day, we had a blast. It's all about attitude, isn't it? While I'm not sure I'm ready to move to Maine any time soon, it sure has been a treat to see seasons in action so dramatically. The world is a bit more quiet. The animal tracks are a bit more obvious. And neighbors you've never met are a little more likely to say hello as they beam a huge kid-like grin. Good stuff.

Attitude is everything! Great shots of the kids.
So jealous! Our snow was followed so quickly by rain that we didn't get a chance to go out.
